Promise Ring
This is the ring that Russ gave me for Valentines Day. He had to exchange the first one because the stones where starting to fall out. This was his first choice, but durring the Holiday when he went to go buy it, this one wasn't there. We went back today to exchange it, and his first choice was there, so this is the one that I got in the end, and I'm already much more happier with it.

Friday Fun!
Today was a good day. I feel very accomplished in the fact that I got all of my Vienna support letters printed off. I'm waiting on my mom to send me some addresses and I'm hoping to get them sent off in the next couple of days. I also sent out a mass email over facebook, but we'll see how that ends up. I do understand that money isn't exactly easy to keep around or have to give for things like this. But I still send out the letters in hope that I can go. I'm so close, I just need some extra help from people to support me. Go Vienna! Lets keep our fingers crossed in that I get the funding to go. :-)
Coffee
I have become a regular coffee drinker. One of the reasons that coffee came to mind is that fact that it is 1:40 am and I have class at 10 am, I will probably be very tired and worn out from staying up so late. Don't ask me why I'm up this late on a thursday night, I honestly have no idea. Usually when I don't get a lot of sleep, then next morning when I get up, I automatically go to the kitchen and brew some coffee. Some times I even get it ready the night before if I know I'm going to need it the next day. I didn't do that tonight because I didn't expect to stay up this late. I usually make my morning coffee with hazelnut creamer, a little sugar in the raw, and skim milk. Some times if I have time, I like to go to the education building and get some coffee from the coffee shop on the first floor. The coffee there is amazing becuase it is Liquid Planet coffee, which is organic. My usual is a skinny white chocolate raspberry mocha with a single shot. I've also really wanted to work at a coffee shop, but with my schedule, that was never possible. Coffee always tastes so good, but the affect afterwards isn't, but I keep drinking it. I have a very low tolerence for coffee. One shot of espresso and I'm bouncing off the walls. But like I said, it tastes so good! What are your thoughts on coffee? Do you like coffee or tea better? Maybe I should stop thinking about coffee and go to sleep. Maybe... we will see... I think I was thinking that a couple posts ago, but look where that got me. Ha!

Artistic differences
These are some photos that I took after practicing. They were taken a while ago, so I thought they would be fun to put on here. Let me know what you think! :)
Hmmm....
Yes, I have no idea. I just feel like blogging. :-)
Right now I'm trying to read T.E.T (Teacher Effectiveness Training) for my Classroom Management, and teaching students with special needs class. It's talking about what not to do when students have problems and come to you just so they can have some one to listen to them. I often find it frustrating when I talk to people about my problems and they automatically think they have to be the problem solver for me, when all I want them to do is listen. I'm more than okay with some one not knowing what to do, or what to tell me, just as long as they can be a listening ear, that is fine with me. :)
Well, I wish I could have more to say in this blog. Nothing interesting really. The concert was really good tonight, and Michelle, and everyone in the ensemble did an amazing job. The African music really made me want to dance. I sat with my good friend Whitney and we had a really good talk. It was about a lot of things, faith, how our semesters are going, what is new in our lives and such. The small things in life that make it great. I am so glad it is Friday tomorrow! Even though it was a 4 day week, it seemed long to me. But this week end will be a great opportunity for me to relax, scrap book, do laundry, and get caught up on the reading and things for my classes. Oops. ;-) I bid you all farewell.

Week end!
It is Thursday, and I can not wait for the week end! No special plans, well, scrap booking of course. That is exciting to me! :-) There are 2 flute recitals in one day, and I'm looking forward to that. It just gets me really excited to do my recital. Well, I hope you all have a great rest of your Thursday, and a happy Friday! Not that I actually have any readers, but have a good one any way!! Tonight I will be at the World Percussion Ensemble Concert selling tickets and watching my room mate Michelle. There will be Gamelan, (excuse the spelling) music from Brazil, and other amazing things :-)
Oh, and you lone readers of my blog, if any....
please feel free to comment!

Scrapbooking!!!
Today I went to Scrapbook Hide Away, and I had so much fun! I was only there for about 30 minutes or so, but The owner showed me how to do a really neat affect with my pages. If you are reading this and are into scrapbooking or card making, all you need to do is buy a small ink pad, she recommended black or brown, and you just take the pad and brush it along the edge of your paper. I was amazed by how much it added to my pages. I added some black edges to some of my pages, and I'm going back later this week end to get a brown ink pad. :) That made my day, and I can't wait to go there and use their workshop! :)

This is Frankie. We've had him in the Novak family since 2005. He is a very fat and happy cat in the winter who loves to take naps, as if the pictures were not clear on that. ;) That is my dad taking a nap with Frankie when I was home for Christmas. Frankie is also a very sweet cat in his own way. :)

This is Molly. Probably one of the cutest cats I've ever seen! She would sleep in my bed every night when I was home for winter break. Now that I'm not home, and the door is shut, she sits at the door and cries because she can't go up stairs and because I'm not there. (awe....) She is super sweet and I miss her. Love you Molly! (even though you're a cat and don't read blogs!)
Greetings!
So here is my blog :) I have procrastinated long enough on my home work to do this, but I will play around with this and put some stuff on here later.
Love,
Jenna
