3 am... well, this time, 6:30 am :)

I didn't go to bed last night! I know it's going to catch up to me. I just haven't been on a normal sleep schedule. However, my reasoning behind is..... Russ and I going to Libby later today to visit Uncle Wayne. Last time I had trouble falling asleep at descent hour, so if I don't get a lot of sleep, from now until when we leave, hopefully I will be able to crash and get back on a normal sleep schedule.... or just wishful thinking? During my all-nighter, I attempted to bake chocolate chewy cookies, but subbing out a different hot chocolate mix for Hershey's, but that failed. I'm hoping that I can revive the cookie mix later because I subbed in Dove for Hershey's, and I don't want to throw it away! :(  

I ordered another book that I can read soon.... as soon as I finish Alan Alda's autobiography. It is Mike Farrell's autobiography, Just Call Me Mike: A Journey to Actor and Activist. I'm so excited to read it! I had to order it at Barnes and Nobel because they didn't have it in stock, but it was so worth waiting! Here is his website:

I met him way back in January or February of '09 (I can't remember which.) Himself and James Cromwell came to the U to talk to the public about the death penalty. 

Yup :) Now if I could meet Alan Alda, I would an even happier little peach. :)  

 

Summer!

The first day of summer was yesterday, and it was such a nice day! Today was nice as well. Missoula City Band had it's first performance! I am in the flute section and it is such a fun group to play in! Players of all ages and all walks of life. I get to play with friends, colleagues and a few great teachers in the Missoula area. After the concert I went to Big Dipper with Michelle and had some cotton candy ice cream. Yum! A great way to end the day! Now I am hungry, so I'll end this post and probably write more in the next couple of days. Love & Peace,

Best Friends!

This is my fabulous Maid of Honor, Kara! She couldn't make it to my bridal shower, but she came the week end after. We met for lunch and she hung out with me while I got my hair done for the trail run for the wedding.

Bridal shower

My amazing bridesmaid, Melissa Swalla threw a bridal shower for me at the beginning of June. She did such an amazing job & I had so much fun!! I am a very happy bride-to-be and thankful to have such wonderful friends! Here are the pictures that she took. 

She made chocolate cake with raspberries, raspberry chocolate squares and lemon bars and brought yummy veggies. The pictures are from the games that we played. We started with a game were we where Disney character couples. Melissa taped our character's name to our backs and we had to find our Disney partner/spouse. Michelle and Katie were actually Russ & Jenna :) Once we found our spouse we had to design a wedding dress out of toilet paper. I didn't play, I was the judge. I loved the creativity! I picked Janell & Anna as the best dress. I have more pictures coming soon that I will post here as well and I will tell you more about the party when I post the pictures.
