Rain, Sun, Work, Budgeting, Coffee, Good friends...
Good Afternoon.
I almost said morning because I'm a little sleepy so I still feel like it's morning even though it is almost 3pm :) I started this morning with coffee at Zoo Town Brew, here in Missoula at 8 am with my good friend Kathleen who I haven't seen since either October, or November... don't really remember exactly other than it was quite a while ago & WAY too long to go with out talking to her. I missed her so much, and it was so good to see her. I plan to visit her in Billings this summer because I have all week ends off this summer. :) It was rainy and cold, so it was nice to start the morning with a good cup of coffee in the company of a good friend. Now it is sunny, but it looks slightly windy and cold out side.......I'm having a dinner of pizza tonight with Rachel and we're going to plan the BBQ for tomorrow. It's going to be fun, and if you are in the area please stop by apartment tomorrow @ 6:30 for yummy food. :)
Lesson learned for the day:
Write down every little tiny thing you spend on your debit card. When you lose track for just one split second it will come back to bite you. Sigh. Over drafts are not fun to deal with. But thanks to loving mothers, they can be taken care of easily. But yes, from now on I will write down every single thing I spend and not just check it on line. Some lessons are learned later and harder than others. But, no one is perfect, a learning experience all in all.

Whew.....
I woke up today at about 12:45... the latest I have slept in in a long time. I felt so nice. I stayed up last night making brownies for my friends at my apartment who still had finals the next day. That was a lot of fun. It is crazy to think about because next semester is my last semester of finals. Well, not really if I decide to go on to grad school, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to that point.
It's sunny here in Missoula, and it's only going to get warmer. :) Rachel is throwing a BBQ for me before I go to Vienna, I'm so spoiled! :-) Even though I still have a lot to do for that trip, it's nice to actually relax and enjoy the simple things, and not have to be in a practice room on a sunny day, or study, or worry about school in general. I have a good feeling about this semester. I ended it with confidence, I improved on so many things, and I passed everything I needed to pass to move on to next semester.
It's going to be a great summer :)
Vienna for a month, and when I get back I will start working at the Mansfield Library. I have a pretty good schedule, and I'll get 30 hours a week. I'll get off at 4:30 everyday, leaving me time at the end of the day to practice etudes with no stress, learn some new pieces on the flute and piano, paint, scrapbook, work out, go for long walks, journal, draw.... drink tea at the end of the day, go through the series of MASH.... or what ever my heart desires. :-) I will also be working on the scrapbook for the Grizzly Marching Band, and getting ready for band camp the week before school starts. God is spoiling me with an amazing summer, that I can not wait for it to unfold. :-)
What book(s) have you been reading lately?
I am current reading Alan Alda's 2nd autobiography, Things I Overheard While Talking to Myself. I love it! I loved his preceding book Never Have Your Dog Stuffed and if you are an Alan Alda, or a MASH fan by any means, or just looking for a very touching, but humorous read, I would recommend it. Granted, I may sound a bit bias because I have been a MASH and Alan Alda fan since I was in middle school, but seriously, read it. :) I have been able to connect with him through his book, and it's just been amazing. (Does that sound weird or strange to you?) I'm still hoping to meet him soon. If I would want to meet any famous person, it would be him.

Take care, and enjoy the sunshine :)
Go look at a tree today! Maggie, my flute teacher told her students
to do that. :-) It made me laugh & I thought it was strange,
but it helped. :-) Looking at something green and blooming will make
any one have a good day after cold weather, or a bad day.

Shortest Finals week ever :-)
I can't believe it's Monday, and I can say I'm almost done with finals! :-) Such a good feeling! I had a busy day today though. I had to present my technofied lesson in my computer technology class at 8:30 am & then at 10 am I had my final in Exceptionalities and Classroom Management on disabilities. I took the last part of my piano functional at 3pm ish, it was supposed to be at 2:40, but it ended up being 30 minutes late. I love playing piano, but I hate playing for 2 of the piano teachers at the university when they are watching you behind your back. I was so nervous :S they passed me, but I could tell it was a stretch. But who cares!! I passed!!! :-) That's all that matters in the end :-) The only final I have left tomorrow is percussion, so I should be done no later than 11 am :-) There are two little things I need to resubmit for my 306 class but that won't take long. Now I just need to go get a photo taken for my ID card for Vienna, and submit one more online form and I'll be set. :-) I'm so excited :-) I do have a blog just for Vienna that I will write in while I'm there instead of this one. Hope all is well, and that you're having a great week as well. Much love!!!

Cat Picture!
This is Mischief. She likes to lay on her back. She is very strange, but funny kitty. She also has a wide variety in her diet, which explains why she is a little chubby.
Random Text from roomata
So after I practiced piano for 3 hours in preparation for my piano functional on Monday, my roommate sent me a text, and I quote the text, "Aaaahhhh I'm Jennaless!"
That made me laugh so much! It made me smile! My friend and roommate, Michelle, makes me smile, and knows exactly when to bring comic relief. :-) Random Blog :-) hope you enjoy! :-)

The end is near
The semester is drawing to a close. Finals begin a week from today. No one enjoys finals, and just like everyone else, I can not wait for them to be over. I'm more fortunate than most in the fact that I only have finals in two classes. The rest of my classes were either presentation and performances. But, I still have to work on passing my piano functional on harmonization and transposition.... sick. I love playing piano, don't get me wrong, but this piano situation is rather sickening for any one.
The week after finals I'm working Monday to Friday, 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. It will be nice to get some extra cash to pay bills :) I have class at 2 today, and I don't want to go, but thankfully I only have two class periods left of it for the semester. I would much rather go home, snuggle up on my couch, drink some coffee, and do some sudoku puzzles. It's really gloomy outside here in Missoula. But, on the plus side gloomy weather will make it easier to study because I won't want to go out side. Perfect timing for prepping for finals.
My student teaching interview is this Friday. I really hope that I can go to Columbia Falls for JH and HS band and choir. Hopefully my prof. who does student teaching placements will call and head of time so I can get that spot. But, where ever God wants me will be best no matter what.
Farewell for now. Stay warm, or enjoy the weather if it is sunny where ever you are.
